Democrat Recall Effort Reveals Pro-Crime Bias
Democrats have
started a petition to recall Mayor Eric Johnson after his recent switch
to the Republican party. This effort, along with the policies of
Democrat-aligned council members, reveals the anti-police, soft-on-crime
attitude of the Democrat party in Dallas.
Mayor Johnson is not a
Right-wing politician by any means. The change of his party affiliation
did not bring any new policies or positions.

Still, the shift drew intense criticism from Dallas’s Left-wing
political community.
The only real criticism that the Left has against
Johnson is that he opposes the radical movement to defund the police and
other calls to make Dallas a safe haven for criminals. Evidently, his
party switch is seen as a rededication to those principles.
The
Left’s reaction to Johnson reveals the true intentions of the Democrat
party. Also, it gives insight into why Democrat-aligned council members
are unwilling to support policies that would restore law and order in
Dallas.
Our city council is overwhelmingly dominated by politicians who
were elected to enact Woke, Left-wing policies such as defunding the
police and giving free housing to criminal vagrants.
Dallas residents
have to stand up and say no to the radical activist class that wants to
destroy the city’s prosperity and make life equally miserable for
everyone.
The first step is to contact your council member to demand
that they fully fund our police department and enable the police
department to arrest criminals. DPD needs to move from 3,000 to 4,000
police officers ASAP. If they refuse, vote them out!

Press Highlights:
15-Year Sentence for Fentanyl Supplier Linked to Teen
Deaths
A local fentanyl dealer recently received a sentence of 15 years
in prison for his role in the death of three teenagers. We should
celebrate when criminals face justice, but we must also ask if 15 years
is long enough. The fentanyl epidemic is a threat to America, and Dallas
is a hotspot for the drug trade. Lawmakers should consider increasing
the penalty for fentanyl-related crimes!

  17-Year-Old Arrested For
Murder Of Two Dallas Teens
Teenagers are more likely to get involved
in crime in cities where criminals are allowed to thrive. Some
communities are not policed properly, and criminals often get softer
treatment from activist judges or our district attorney. Cracking down
on crime will get criminals off our streets, and it will also prevent
new criminals from being created.

Drugs, Car Theft, Burglaries Plague Two Dallas
Neighborhoods
Adam Bazaldua’s district is one of the most dangerous in
Dallas. What is the council member from District 7 doing to protect his
constituents? Seemingly nothing! If we ever want Dallas to be safe, we
must acknowledge that the city council’s attempts to create “equity”
have only further damaged the communities they represent. Blacks and
Hispanics deserve safety too!

Tracking Illegal Camps:
[link removed] Each
week the KDS team drives its planned route through Dallas
photo-documenting and cataloguing illegal encampments to inform the
city of these locations. Our team livestreams these activities giving
the community a first-hand look at the vagrancy crisis in Dallas.
In
this stream, we expose the City's half-measures on homelessness.

 District 6 Councilman Omar Narvaez's
"Big Tent Camp"
We
named this camp in Omar Narvaez’s District 6 “Big Tent Camp.” Urban
camping is illegal in the State of Texas, so it should not be possible
for vagrants to erect a huge tent under a bridge in the middle of the
city. Sites like this are disruptive to the flow of traffic, and
authorities have no way of knowing what kind of crime may be happening
inside.
 District 14 Councilman Paul Ridley's
"Transient Camp"
This camp in Paul Ridley's District 14 has been dubbed “Transient
Camp.” Vagrants in the downtown area often choose to forgo tents or
permanent structures in favor of sleeping in the open with their
belongings. People living on the street are forced to move periodically
by the city’s cleaning crews, but they simply take their things to
another area and resettle.
 District 7 Councilman Adam
Bazaldua's
"Slum Camp"
This camp in Adam Bazaldua’s District 7 has
earned the title “Slum Camp.” Camps in this neighborhood around South
Blvd have literally grown into a giant slum. Vacant lots throughout
this community have been taken over by vagrants who choose to live on
the street so they can feed their drug addictions rather than get help.
Stop making it easy to live on the street!

Statement:
Keep Dallas Safe exists to address crime and homelessness
in Dallas with the goal of transforming Dallas into the safest large
city in Texas for residents and businesses. We aim to have a City
Council that prioritizes crime rate which directly determines the
quality of life in Dallas. We do this by fighting against the "defund
the police" movement, holding accountable our city leaders' efforts
towards lowering district crime rates, and highlighting our city's
homelessness problems by pushing for enforcement of the prohibition of
urban camping.
