On Monday, America recognized Martin Luther King, Jr. and his legacy fighting for justice, racial and economic equity, and civil rights. 

And on Monday, we also endured another year of Republican politicians co-opting Dr. King's memory and disingenuously taking his words out of context to make it seem like they care at all about his legacy.   

The loudest voices on the right trying to whitewash Dr. King are always the literal worst people—and this year, none other than Lauren Boebert wins the award for the loudest, most ignorant gaslighting of MLK's legacy:

There is no need to address Boebert's stupid comments on the substance, since they lack any. But the good news is we are on the cusp of ending Boebert's chaotic reign of terror, finally. So instead, we will simply ask: will you please help us make Lauren Boebert commenting about literally anything as a public figure a thing of the past?
