Dear John,
No patient should face discrimination when seeking medical
care or health insurance. Unfortunately, women with heart disease know
all too
well that sometimes sexism and bias can impact their care.
Now you have the chance to speak up!

New federal regulations propose
to roll back some of the protections currently in place that protect
patients
from discrimination.
If enacted, the regulations would eliminate the general
prohibition on discrimination based on gender identity and open the
door for
insurance companies to discriminate in their marketing and benefit
design.
Tell the Administration you oppose this proposal to weaken
patients' protections from discrimination. The opportunity to
comment ends
Tuesday, August 13.

Thank you for standing up for women living with and at risk
of heart disease and all patients.
