Hi Friend,

We’re entering into 2024 with a bang! Thanks again to everyone who contributed to our year end campaign. We raised $49,558. We're off to an incredible start to this important year and election.

We also have some great news to share. You might recognize Sarah Strinka's friendly face from when she knocked on your door while canvassing. We are delighted to announce that Sarah has been promoted from canvasser to our program staff. <[link removed]> Sarah's dedication and hard work since 2021 have been an inspiration. She embodies the principles of foundational justice, equity, social justice, and climate justice that we hold dear.

But that's not all! We're equally excited to introduce Tatiana Rodzos in her new role as our Campaign Strategist. Tatiana is a brilliant organizer who has been on staff since 2019. She has been an invaluable asset to our team, and her strategic insights made a significant impact and contributed to all of our successful campaigns last year.

2024 election

The first of three Republican candidate primary debates for the Ohio Senate race on is on Monday, January 22nd <[link removed]>at 7 p.m. Mark your calendars, because the 2024 election is just around the corner, and it's crucial that we all tune in and stay informed.

Utility corruption

You might recall that on December 4, 2023, former Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) Chairman Sam Randazzo was charged in an 11-count indictment <[link removed]>related to the $61 million scandal surrounding House Bill 6.

The Ohio Supreme Court just ruled on Tuesday that Randazzo's assets will remain frozen, to prevent Randazzo from moving money out of his accounts.

Randazzo's attorneys said they would attempt to move the case to Columbus rather than Cincinnati where U.S. District Court Judge Timothy Black is currently presiding.

It's a testament to the power of collective action and our commitment to holding those who corrupt our state government accountable.

With gratitude and determination,
