An Alternative to Doing Your Own Online Worship

The Gathering UMC (St. Louis) is planning to livestream worship services from their sanctuary on Facebook live at 9:00 a.m., 10:45 a.m., and 5:00 p.m. every Sunday. They hope this will offer a temporary place of worship for any churches that are not currently able to stream services online. They are also encouraging churches to host a Facebook Watch Party. This allows you to choose your time, host the service, interact with your congregants, and continue to pastor them in a new digital way. Set up instructions are at https://www.moumethodist.org/files/websites/www/Instructions+for+Facebook+Watch+Parties.pdf. If you plan to participate, please send a note to [email protected].  For resources related to online worship go to https://www.moumethodist.org/coronavirus-worship-liturgy-resources.

No-Travel Mission

With travel to and from the United States restricted for the time being, and travel around the country not recommended, how can we still support the vital work being done by our partners at mission sites where we serve?
