While 5 billion people have gotten poorer since 2020, the world’s richest have doubled their wealth.

Friend—The Republican Party today is rife with contradictions.

While the official GOP Twitter account proclaims “62% of Americans report living paycheck to paycheck,” the entire party voted against raising the minimum wage.

$7.25/hour is not a livable wage anywhere in the United States. I support raising the Federal minimum to $25/hour.

Since 2020, the combined wealth of the five richest men in the world has more than doubled. Meanwhile, over the same time frame 5 billion people have gotten poorer.

I am the only major candidate in this race addressing inequality head-on, and basing my economic policy in equity and justice. We need single-payer universal healthcare, universal basic income, and housing for all as a human right in order to ensure everyone can survive and thrive.

Are you with me? We’re less than three weeks away from people receiving their ballots—I need the support of my community to win.

After Donald Trump’s performance in Iowa the other night, I’ve become further convinced that as Democrats we need to give people something to vote for, not just boogeymen to vote against.

Our country’s crisis of despair continues—we’re still seeing record rates of alcohol, drug, and suicide deaths equivalent to a 747 falling out of the sky every day with no survivors.

At this rate, the world will have its first trillionaire within a decade, and poverty won’t be eradicated for 229 years.

But we can turn it around.

If you haven’t already contributed to this campaign for equity and justice, now is the time. And if you have, show your support with a yard sign (free for in-district voters) or t-shirt (shipped anywhere in the country).

This is a very tight race—I’ve already received mailers from several of my opponents, and while they hope to drag votes away from each other, I know my base of support remains strong.

Let’s push this 100% people-powered campaign over the top and win this primary in just a few weeks.

In solidarity,

Maebe
