Dear Friend,

By now we’re all aware of the current situation surrounding COVID-19. This past week, Congress passed the Families First Coronavirus Response Act. But it’s not enough.

As an organization committed to reproductive justice values, URGE knows we must center the most marginalized in our society, especially young people, LGBTQIA+ folks, Black, Indigenous, and other people of color, folks with low incomes, sex workers, those experiencing homelessness or incarceration, and people living with HIV. These communities will be heavily impacted by the current COVID-19 pandemic. We must center them and our leaders must do the same!

We need your help: Contact your legislators today and tell them that any legislation passed in response to COVID-19 must center the needs of marginalized communities!
