Last night, the Senate voted 72-11 to reject the slanderous and dangerous anti-Israel resolution brought by Senator Bernie Sanders, which could have cut off all U.S. aid to Israel.
In a passionate speech on the Senate floor, Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) slammed the Sanders resolution saying, "Its passage would be a gift to Hamas. A gift to Iran. It would show a division between Israel and the United States. It's an indictment against Israel, make no mistake about it."
American Leaders Meet with Hostage Families
Today, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Senators Ben Cardin, Jim Risch, Joni Ernst, Susan Collins, Kirsten Gillibrand, and Pete Ricketts met with families of the hostages who are still held captive by Hamas. You can watch the press conference here.
On the House side, Speaker Mike Johnson led a vigil in honor of the hostages with his colleagues on the steps of the Capitol. Each of the members wore masking tape on their chests with the number 103, commemorating each day of captivity.
Democrats and Republicans stood together holding candles as the Speaker, Democratic Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar, and Representatives David Kustoff, Kathy Manning, and Max Miller offered remarks and reaffirmed their commitment to Israel and to bringing all the hostages home.
In his speech, the Speaker noted that Kfir Bibas will turn one year old tomorrow. Kfir has spent almost a third of his life in the horror of Hamas captivity. Kfir, his brother Ariel, and his parents are four of the 136 hostages still held by the terror group.

More Horrific Details of Hamas' Atrocities
With each day, we learn more about the barbarism perpetrated by Hamas on October 7. Today on CNN’s The Lead with Jake Tapper, new security camera footage was aired showing Hamas using knives to behead Israeli victims after they were murdered.
In another horrific testimony, the bereaved father of slain IDF soldier Adir Tahar described how his son’s body was brought to Mt. Herzl cemetery for burial without his head. "When I buried Adir, I knew that I was burying my child without an essential part of him. Then the journey began to search for that missing part."
Two months later, a terrorist admitted in an interrogation that he had tried to sell his head for $10,000. IDF soldiers operating in Gaza identified it in a freezer and brought it back to be buried with the rest of Adir’s body.
These gruesome details underscore the barbaric nature of Hamas, and the imperative for America to stand with Israel throughout its war to destroy the terror group in Gaza. A ceasefire now would leave these monsters armed, in power, and ready to fulfill their promise to attack again.
Action Needed in the House
House members are circulating an important bipartisan letter opposing the effort by South Africa to charge Israel with "genocide" at the International Court of Justice. Take 30 seconds now and send a pre-written email to your representative urging them to sign this letter standing with Israel. The same link will send a letter to your senators calling on them to support vital emergency funding for Israel.
Yesterday, Hamas launched a barrage of over 25 rockets from central Gaza into southern Israel. Immediately after the attack on the city of Netivot, the IDF pursued a terrorist cell near the site of the launches.
Today the IDF announced that it captured seven terrorists and killed several more who operated the rocket launch site. Video published by the IDF showed the rocket launchers that were used – buried into the ground and some with rockets still loaded inside.
Israeli combat engineers detonated and destroyed the launchers. See the footage below.
