This is outrageous, folks.

As coronavirus continues to spread, more and more families across the country face uncertainty. People are losing their jobs, small businesses are closing their doors, families are facing food insecurity, the list goes on and on.

But despite this public health and economic crisis, the Trump administration is carrying on business as usual and instructing ICE to raid Californian communities in the dead of night.

Trump and his lackeys want to further destabilize and terrorize our communities. Well, let me make myself clear: ICE has no place during this crisis. Period.

On top of this, Republican Senator Rand Paul said immigrants are not “legitimate,” calling them “non-people” and suggesting they shouldn’t be eligible for Federal child tax credits during this pandemic.

The coronavirus is hard on everyone, but especially immigrant communities. We cannot turn our back on them as this virus continues to get worse.
