A Message Concerning Upcoming Meetings

Dear members,

As a reminder: we are still holding regularly scheduled committee meetings and chapter business but via remote access through internet and phone based calls and chats. This weeks email contains links to all our upcoming virtual meetings.

The March General Membership Meeting slated to take place on March 21 has been cancelled.

SAVE THE DATE: May 30, 2020

Sacramento DSA is hosting its first ever local chapter convention to deliberate, debate, and ultimately democratically decide the direction the chapter will go for the next year of organizing.

Check out our newly launched webpage devoted to all things convention! Just added: all the submitted resolutions and bylaw amendments. Take a took at what changes, priorities and campaigns your fellow members have proposed!

**at this time all deadlines will continue to be honored. The working group is working on a contingency plan (virtual hosting etc) given the current crisis**

Media & Communications Committee Meeting

Join the Media and Communication Committee during this meeting to discuss upcoming media and graphics projects, the formation of a social media team, and a scheduling squad to help promote all the amazing work the chapter does!

LGBTQ+ Feminist Reading Group

The LGBTQ+ Feminist Reading Group is discussing anti-patriarchy on Monday evening.

Men are encouraged to join!

Child Watch working group meeting

As a part of Sacramento DSA's commitment to providing child watch at meetings and events, the child watch working group is meeting to take the next steps in coordinating child watch volunteers, coordinators and other details necessary for creating a safe place for families. If you are a parent, guardian or care provider for children, we would love to see you there. This meeting will also be open to children to provide input as well so feel free bring any young sprouts along!
