While I’m an Arizonan by choice, I’m a born-and-raised Iowan at heart and this week Republicans made it clear where their party is headed this year at the Iowa caucuses on Monday.

Donald Trump brought his favorite MAGA mouthpiece with him, Kari Lake (who, unfortunately, is also an Iowan), and she went from city to city, repeating claims of stolen elections and stoking the flames of a baseless culture war that targets LGBTQ+ folks and marginalized communities.
