Republicans have controlled the House for the last year and have nothing to show for it.

Instead of working on solutions for the American people, they focused on chaos and in-fighting. That included holding countless votes for Speaker of the House — where my opponent helped elect Mike Johnson, an extremist election denier.

Over the weekend, Johnson announced that he will DO NOTHING to help the crisis at the border until a Republican is elected President.

At a time when our border is in crisis, House Republicans are refusing to act. This is further proof that Republicans want to play politics with this issue rather than solve it.

Washington and Juan Ciscomani have failed our border communities. Arizona deserves better.
