We’re taking on Ted Cruz, the second most hated man in politics
The tides are turning in Texas, friend.
National Democrats have cast their eyes on the Lone Star State, recognizing our unique and pivotal role in shaping America's political landscape. Texas stands on the cusp of history, ready to redefine its future and with it, the nation's. The fight in Texas in 2024 is not just a battle -- it's the battleground of battlegrounds. Chip in now to show that you agree, friend!
Ted Cruz -- our historically unlikable and historically beatable Republican Senate candidate -- has shown time and time again that his interests do not align in any way with what’s important to Texas families. Just this week, as Texans across the state were once again preparing for extreme winter weather under our rickety power grid, he joked again about his cowardly flight to Cancun during Winter Storm Uri.
And just yesterday, he endorsed Donald Trump for a third time, continuing his allegiance to the man who repeatedly insulted him and his family -- an allegiance that culminated on January 6, 2021, when Cruz objected to the results of the 2020 election, and bought precious time for insurrectionists to storm the Capitol.
Ted Cruz knows he’s unlikeable, so he stands on the shoulders of MAGA extremists to lift him up. But the average Texan can see past him. Even Sean Hannity admitted that Ted Cruz is “the second most hated man…in politics.”
Texas deserves leaders who stand firm in the storm, who fight for the dignity and safety of all Texans, and who will stand up for American democracy -- not try to overthrow it.
This is our moment, and the nation is watching. But to seize it, we need you, friend.
Thank you for standing with us, and for believing in the heart and resolve of Texas Democrats. Every step we take is one closer to victory, and with you by our side, we are unstoppable.
