John, We know things are changing everyday and there is so much uncertainty. People are getting hit hard. As you know, earlier this week Lindsey called for $2K cash in people’s hands right away, when only a few people were calling for $1K. She followed up with a very specific plan around what we need to do now in order to help the economy in the long run. Watch Lindsey's response here. Days later, incumbent Rep. Nadler put out a letter filled with empty platitudes. Now, Rep. Nadler has finally decided to follow in Lindsey’s footsteps and call for $2K cash distributions. We are glad he has taken her lead, but now it's time to act. This is just one example during this critical time that shows why we need new leadership. To add insult to injury, we’ve seen reports that the White House was warned last year and never gave pandemic preparation sufficient attention. We’re seeing news of high level government officials dumping stocks like insider traders as they first learned of the outbreak — all while their constituents are getting laid off in mass because businesses are shuttering. We’re hearing of industry bailouts, while small businesses that are hanging on by a thread are only given the option of loans which will drive them further into debt they can’t repay. Government is supposed to support the people. It's clear that we need new leaders in office, not followers. Help Lindsey get to Washington so that she can get the job done.
