The third anniversary of one of the darkest days in our nation's history came on January 6th. May we never forget that violent assault on our democracy that, to this day, has caused extreme political division.

President Biden spoke on this year's anniversary of the insurrection and I have to say, he’s right about a lot! 👏

That’s why today, I am doubling down on President Biden’s statement that violence is never ever acceptable in our political system. Donald Trump will be willing to sacrifice our democracy if he’s reelected.

At a time like this — when it’s likely that corrupt Supreme Court Justices will decide Trump’s fate and when House Republicans have overseen a historically pointless and unproductive session of Congress — it’s important that I sound the alarm on what could happen with Trump back in the White House.

There is lots of work to be done to protect our most valued rights, and we can’t walk even further backwards in 2024. And my congressional district could decide the presidential election for the entire country.

President Biden, House Democrats, and myself are working towards flipping the House and continuing progress on real issues, but we need your help.
