After Republicans in the Georgia state legislature tried to gerrymander her out of Congress, Lucy McBath announced she’s running in the newly drawn 6th District. Republicans are trying to kick her out of Congress – but she isn’t going anywhere. So we’re putting the pedal to the metal to kick her campaign into overdrive.

Lucy has set a goal of raising $25k in grassroots donations by this Friday, January 19th. Here’s why she must get your support in this pivotal time for her re-election prospects:

• Republicans in the state legislature re-drawing her district means Lucy has to reach thousands of new voters. We don’t have much time, but we need the resources to spread the word about Lucy’s vision for the future of the district.
• Communicating with voters takes significant resources. Recruiting volunteers, printing mailers, and running ads all are dependent on funding for her campaign – and they could make or break her success in November.
• Republicans aren’t done attacking Lucy, and they’ve shown they’ll stop at nothing to force her out of her seat. The redrawn maps were a direct attempt to attack Lucy. She needs to be prepared for whatever they throw at her between now and Election Day.
