John,

Here at Team Emily Busch, we're firm believers in the idea that who you align yourself with says a lot about your priorities and beliefs.

It's why Emily being recognized as a Brady PAC Gun Safety Champion means so much to us, John – it's important that other folks see how important gun safety is to Emily and are reassured that this is an issue she'll take seriously in office.

But when you look at John James' proudest supporters… John, there's really nothing to be proud of.

We want to tell you more, but if you can't stay: Emily's running a people-powered campaign to flip MI-10 blue. Please consider chipping in to support a passionate, pro-safety candidate today >>

John, let's test your memory:

Do you remember when John James accepted thousands of dollars from far-right extremist Marjorie Taylor Greene?

This is the same Marjorie Taylor Greene who's been a loud champion for a nationwide abortion ban and an even louder advocate against common-sense gun laws. The worst part? Numbers show John James votes with her almost 90% of the time.

Do you remember when it was revealed that John James has received over half a million dollars in contributions and outside spending from gun groups over the course of his career?

That might explain why he's not opposed to using federal funding to arm teachers in our schools, but is opposed to funding gun violence prevention research – potentially putting more of our community at risk.

Do you remember when the National Right to Life Committee gave John James a 100% rating?

While he might try to minimize what he's said before, we'll never forget when he said he's "100% pro-life. Always have been, always will be."

John, the bottom line is this: based on who he's chosen to align himself with, it's clear that he's more focused on making friends than being a strong voice for our community.

Emily, on the other hand, is more than ready to fight for us in Congress. She's running a people-powered campaign, where grassroots support is crucial. That being said, will you chip in $15, $35 or $50 toward getting this message to folks across the district?

Thank you,

Team Emily Busch

Emily Busch Headshot

Emily first learned the importance of community and helping others from her mom, a nurse, and dad, a manufacturing representative, while growing up in a tight-knit, middle-class Midwestern family.

The proud product of public schools, Emily worked hard in and out of the classroom, balancing her studies and interest in performing arts with an after-school job as a cashier at Ace Hardware. She went on to earn her B.A. in Biology from Indiana University and Masters from Michigan State University.

Now, Emily is running for Congress in Michigan’s 10th District to keep our kids safe, protect our rights, and lower costs for Michigan families.

Emily chose to move to Oakland County two decades ago because it was the place she wanted to raise her family – a place with friendly neighbors, good schools, and safe neighborhoods.

She and her husband, a retired firefighter and Marine, enjoy camping, fishing, and visiting national parks in their free time.
