It's January, and contributions at this point in the election are priceless to our campaign! They allow us to plan our path to victory and invest in organizing resources that will grow in the months ahead of Election Day, and are ultimately what will give us the best shot at winning in November.

But, you chose to save your contribution for later.

It's now July, a new poll came out that showed our campaign within the margin of error of my Republican opponent. People chalk it up to be an outlier, so Democrats still think we have a pretty good chance at keeping Delaware blue.

You hold off on chipping in for now.

Fast forward to November, just a few days before the election. A report comes out that shows that our campaign's cash-on-hand has been lagging behind our GOP opponent's for a few months – causing us to have to scale down on crucial resources leading up to the election.
