To hear the media tell it, the sky is about to fall.

You see, in just a few days, some government agencies will -
gasp! - "shutter" if a budget is not approved right away!

Of course, you know this is nonsense. We've been in this same
position how many times over the past ten years? I've lost count.


Every time, one of three things happens:

-Republicans cave in and pass a "continuing resolution" to extend
the existing budget a little farther, teeing up the next "budget
crisis" in a few more months;

-Republicans cave in and pass a budget even more fiscally
reckless than the last;

-A few government agencies take a few days off, until Republicans
cave in and pass an even more bloated budget, including back pay
for the bureaucrats who got a free vacation.

Patriot, I'm not going to tell you we can stop the statists'
spending spree.

After all, last November we saw how comfortable House Speaker
Mike Johnson is passing bloated spending bills - even when nearly
100 Republicans were against it.

But certainly, you and I should still be outraged by this and
call our representatives to DEMAND they vote against the
continuing resolution that keeps the Nancy Pelosi budget going
strong and the forthcoming "Republican" budget that will be even
bigger.

Moreover, the more heat we put on our representatives, the more
heat we put on House Speaker Mike Johnson, who needs a fire under
him for his record of total betrayal.

you think!

You can say whatever you like, or you can say something like
this:

Hello, this is [your name] from [your city.]

Our country is now going another TRILLION dollars in debt every
few months, and incredibly, congressional leadership has done
NOTHING to reduce spending. Speaker Mike Johnson now wants us to
spend EVEN MORE.

This is completely unacceptable. You should OPPOSE the continuing
resolution and vote NO on the Schumer-Johnson spending deal that
would spend even more taxpayer money than ever before. These
deals are financially destroying our country. Vote NO on more
spending and vote against the continuing resolution. Thank you.

After you call your legislators, please consider a contribution
