Madeleine Dean for Congress

Team, now that 2024 is officially here, my team and I are getting ready for the first big step of this campaign – getting my name on the ballot.

We call this part of the process the petition period, and my team and I really enjoy it. Despite the cold, it’s a great chance to connect with voters across PA-04 as we collect the 1,000 signatures required to place my name on the ballot.

But in order to get the number of signatures we need on time, we need to make sure we have the resources for collection drives, mailing signature packets to volunteers, and run an intentional volunteer recruitment campaign digitally and on the phones.

To help us get our ballot access program up and running, my team has set a goal to raise $5,000 by this Friday (petitions start the following Tuesday!). I know that the Presidential election will run right through the Philadelphia suburbs, and I’m determined to help deliver a strong Democratic showing here in PA-04 – and that all starts with making sure my name appears on the ballot.
