Team,
Earlier this week, I asked if you could pitch in whatever you could afford towards the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank in order to provide food and necessities for those impacted by the coronavirus pandemic in our community. And wow, you delivered.
Over 2,500 people made contributions totaling more than $90,000 for the LA Food Bank, giving them the resources to pay for 360,000 meals! That’s truly incredible and exactly the kind of goodness and generosity our country needs right now.
Well, I’m reaching out to ask if you’re willing and able to assist two more important organizations helping those in need during this public health and economic crisis: Project Angel Food and United Way of Greater Los Angeles.
Project Angel Food prepares and delivers healthy meals to feed people impacted by serious illness and compromised immune systems - exactly the sort of people at greatest risk from Coronavirus. Right now, they’re urgently working to secure three weeks worth of shelf-stable meals to provide for their clients in the face of the COVID-19 emergency, and could really use your help.
United Way of Greater Los Angeles provides housing, education, and economic opportunities to those impacted by poverty and homelessness. They’ve just launched their Pandemic Relief Fund to support L.A. County’s unsheltered residents who are especially vulnerable to the coronavirus, as well as the large number of working families, students and other low-income individuals at imminent risk of homelessness and hardship due to the health and economic impacts of the pandemic.
Will you join me in supporting two more critical charities in providing coronavirus relief to those most in need by splitting a contribution (only if you’re able!) to Project Angel Food and United Way of Greater LA today?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Together, we can continue to do a whole lot of good as we support each other during this unprecedented crisis.
Thanks so much,
Adam
