Friend – no one thought I could win in 2018.

I was up against an 11-term Republican who had been in Congress since I was a teenager. Polls showed me down by double digits. 

That didn't stop me. I worked day and night to connect with Texans and earn their votes. I won that race with 52% of the vote.

Look, I know I'm the underdog again this year. People have even told me that I can't win this race and should just stay in my safe seat in Congress.  

But we're already better off than we were in 2018: Polls show me just 5 points down with 14% of voters undecided.

And Ted Cruz only won reelection by 2.6% last time. 

So winning will come down to reaching those undecided voters, and I've already met thousands of voters who are as fed up as you and I are with Ted Cruz.

With folks like you on my team, friend, I know we can win.
