Dear John,

As we grapple with new realities caused by the spread of the COVID-19 virus, life for people across the country is radically changing every day. This includes people seeking reproductive health care.

If you have questions about the outbreak’s impact on our ability to access abortion care, the implications for health care providers already strained by medically unnecessary laws, or the potential of telemedicine during this crisis— we’ve got a few answers for you.

Current Fellow Dr. Diana Wu, a family medicine physician, spoke with Rewire.News to answer those questions and more.

Thank you to our friends at the National Abortion Federation for their partnership on this important piece. We’re also grateful for our selfless physician advocates like Dr. Wu for all they do to put their patients and communities first.

In the coming weeks and months, we will keep you informed as we learn more about the COVD-19 virus and its effect on both the accessibility and delivery of reproductive health care.

Until then, our hearts are with you and we hope you are staying safe and healthy.

Sincerely,

Jodi Magee
