Emilia Sykes Raises More Than $540,000 in Fourth Quarter
Enters 2024 with more than $1 million COH
AKRON, OH— Today, Congresswoman Emilia Sykes announced that her campaign will report raising $540,761.30 in the fourth quarter of 2023. Emilia’s campaign heads into the 2024 election year with over $1 million cash on hand.
“Our fight to protect our freedoms, keep our community safe and help families with rising costs is just beginning and I’m humbled by the encouragement our campaign has received across the district,” said Sykes. “The night I was elected I promised we were all going to Congress together, and your continued support proves that this team is standing stronger than ever as we work to ensure middle class families in Ohio’s 13th congressional district can get ahead.”
Sykes' support came from over 4,500 individual donors with the average online contribution just $29.92, displaying the real grassroots support behind Sykes’ campaign.
Sykes is serving the second year of her first two-year term representing Ohio’s 13th Congressional District. Her top priority is making government work for her district. During her tenure, she has brought back $100 million in federal dollars to the district.
