If it weren't for Tom Tomorrow, I wouldn't be at the Prospect.
I read his comic This Modern World religiously throughout the Clinton
and early Bush years, and eventually started visiting his website
. In the days leading up to war in Iraq,
he would link to smart commentary outside the traditional media, at
places like "Atrios" and "Daily Kos" that I'd never heard about
previously. He even used a name for these sites that was new to me:
blogs.

I surfed over to these political blogs and the rest was history.

I'm proud to announce that this month, we have begun a partnership where
we will run Tom's latest This Modern World comic on our website every
Tuesday! It will provide some desperately needed comic relief throughout
this year.

It's exciting to bring aboard Tom with our other new features, including
weekly columns by author and chronicler of the conservative movement
Rick Perlstein throughout the 2024 election season. There are more
announcements to come, so stay tuned!
