Happy New Year! We hope your holidays were filled with joy and
relaxation!

We are so grateful for all you have done to support our efforts over the
last year. These past few months on the campaign trail have been
phenomenal and the support we have received across Maryland has been truly
inspiring! This year has been off to a busy start, and this is the first
of two newsletters coming to your inbox this week, recapping the amazing
time we’ve had on the campaign so far in 2024!

Last week, we had huge turnouts at our office openings in Upper Marlboro
and Silver Spring. It was amazing to see so many faces that have been on
#TeamAlsobrooks since Angela’s first race, in addition to so many new
ones. In celebration of MLK weekend we collected blankets and canned goods
that were delivered to families in need!

If you weren’t able to join us and would like to join us to volunteer,

We spent the evening at the ATU Local 1300 Winter Celebration where we had
the pleasure of speaking with so many incredible folks. Thank you to
President Michael McMillan and the entire Local 1300 for allowing us to
join in on the fun and discuss the future of Maryland.

Angela was honored to attend the Howard County Kappa Phi Lambda Chapter of
the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. annual MLK Memorial Breakfast where
we had the opportunity to speak with so many wonderful Marylanders about
the issues that matter most to them. Thank you to the Alphas for inviting
us to such a stellar event filled with fellowship and friends!

Last weekend, Angela spent time in Chevy Chase with supporters, including
Governor Wes Moore. Thank you to Dede and Dallas Lea for opening their
home to us and to Governor Moore, Dawn Moore, and our many other friends
for joining us and supporting the campaign!

We had a powerful conversation with Baltimore County Executive Johnny
Olszewski on Fox45 Baltimore. Thank you to Tom Rogers for having us on the
show. Big thanks to County Executive Olszewski for joining us and getting
coffee afterwards at Good Neighbor in Hampden after a great morning!

Over the weekend, Angela had a blast celebrating Delta Founders Day with
her Sorors across the state. The women of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
have done so much for the state of Maryland, the nation and the world, and
it was great to participate in service and fellowship with them.

Here on Team Alsobrooks, we’re proud to be a campaign powered by
grassroots donors. We believe in Angela's ability to go farther and do
better for our communities, and we know you do too! It’s going to take all
of us working together to get Angela over the finish line on May 14.
