All hands on deck!  IN just 5 weeks working class people will be voting in a special election on whether to raise the minimum wage to $20/hour. And to protect their stratospheric profits, Big Business has unleashed a ferocious campaign of disinformation to confuse and deter working people.
  

And we've recently learned the pro-big business opposition has raised $88,000 in just a few weeks!. Over the past month we’ve been out-raised by a factor of 20-1 by the corporate elite, and they are prepared to spend even more if needed.

To counter the corporate lies we need working class people like yourself to help power our grassroots field operation so we can send out mailers and literature to remind working people of what's at stake - the transfer of $90 million every year from some of the most rapacious corporations to working people - and to vote in the special election this February. 

The fact it's a special election held during a month not normally associated with voting means we need a full court press to get out the vote. But this can’t happen without YOU. 

Since the pandemic, big business and the super-rich have seen their wealth swell to gargantuan proportions, while working people are pummeled with high inflation.

We need to tip the scales in favor of working people by winning this historic victory which will reverberate through countless generations and inspire other working people to do what the Democratic Party Establishment refuses to do - Raise the Wage!.

DEMAND Adam Smith Support a Ceasefire Now!

Seattle DSA is organizing a rally outside the offices of Democratic Party U.S. Congressman Adam Smith, a high ranking member of the House Armed Services Committee - which is tasked with funding and arming US imperialism. While 64 Representatives and Senators have signed onto the Ceasefire bill, Smith has not.

This is not surprising.

Adam Smith has enjoyed lavish donations from the defense industry to fund his election campaigns -  in fact his top 2024 campaign contributions came from the war industries and the pro-Israel lobby!. It’s clear that Smith doesn’t represent us; he represents the interests of big business, US imperialism and the weapons-makers who profit from it.

Representatives like Adam Smith are using our tax-dollars to facilitate the slaughter of  Palestinians in Gaza and enable Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestinian land. We should be using that money to fully fund education, affordable housing, and healthcare. Money for healthcare and education - not war and occupation!
