So much has happened since we last wrote-snow, bitter cold, and politicians refusing to acknowledge that abortion rights are here to stay.

The beginning of the state legislative session means legislators present their agendas, and we were treated to quite a doozy: a total ban on abortion with vigilante enforcement [[link removed].] , and the rollout of other bills designed to make abortion more difficult to access.



Kansans pride ourselves on our independence, our strength, and our steadfastness. After many years of polarizing political debate, we voted in August 2022 to affirm personal freedom in our state constitution once and for all. Attempts to ignore that decision dishonor not only our vote, but also who we are as Kansans.
