Join Suquamish community council Jan. 23 for review of Kitsap's Comprehensive Plan Update
Kitsap County is planning for community development over the next 20 years and your voice is critical to informing the vision and priorities for accommodating population and economic growth in the county through 2044, as well as impacts on land use, housing, the environment, transportation, climate change and more. Join the Suquamish Community Advisory Council for a special presentation on the Kitsap County Comprehensive Plan Update from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tues., Jan. 23 at the Suquamish United Church of Christ, 18732 Division Ave. NE, Suquamish. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
Deputy County Administrator Eric Baker will provide an overview of the Comprehensive Plan Update currently underway and discuss three draft alternatives under consideration. He will also explain how the Suquamish Subarea Plan will be updated during this process.
There will be time for questions and to provide comments and feedback. For detailed information on Comprehensive Plan documents, maps, upcoming meetings and past public discussions, please visit kcowa.us/compplan.
