As we enter an election year, I am reminded and grounded in why I decided to run for office in the first place: a fundamental belief that with love, hope, and compassion, change is possible.

John, if you’re with me, will you chip in to my re-election campaign today? Now that it’s officially the election year, it’s critical that I have your support to ensure I can continue bringing these values to Congress!

I am a former school teacher from Brattleboro, Vermont. I am the grandchild of a Holocaust victim, the child of working-class parents, the mother of two amazing children Abe and Sarah, and a wife to my wonderful partner, Elizabeth. 

Growing up, I never dreamed that I would see myself represented in Congress, let alone actually be a member of Congress. But at every turn, this team has given me hope beyond measure, affirming my core belief that change IS possible.

As we head into another election year, we’re going to face more uphill battles. When we turn towards each other with love and hope in our hearts, we can do anything. We can change the way we do politics. And we can change our country.
