We know we've reached out a bit more than usual today. Our hope is you don't take these messages as an annoyance, but a signal of how important they are to this movement.

The simple truth is that all the texts and emails like this one that we send drive the overwhelming majority — over 99.7% — of donations to this campaign. So yes, we send a good number of them, and that's why.

Unlike some, Ilhan doesn't waste her time chasing checks from corporate lobbyists or rubbing elbows with billionaires at black-tie fundraising galas.

She never has, she never will — and we think we can all agree we wouldn't have it any other way.

But the thing is, because of the way this campaign is powered, we can't afford to take our foot off the gas.

The super PACs and their right-wing donors are watching us closely. With Ilhan as one of their top targets, they're getting ready to spend millions of dollars to try and defeat her.

It's going to take an incredible amount of resources to fight back. And since this campaign is a movement funded almost entirely by grassroots, small-dollar contributions from people like you, we have to ask:
