Yesterday, we honored the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., with community projects and services, paying tribute to his legacy of fighting for civil rights. As we restart for a new year, filled with promise, hope and challenges, let's keep in mind Dr. King's vision for social justice and inspiring words of how everyday actions can make a difference.

We are excited to offer opportunities to hear from candidates for the U.S. Senate. County Committee members should plan to participate to make informed decisions at our nominating convention in March.

We are working on a candidate forum for Dr. Patricia Campos-Medina and other Senate candidates, so all can have an opportunity to make their case for your support.

A forum will take place on Thursday, Feb. 1, at 7:00 PM, via Zoom for voters in Congressional District 7, featuring candidates: Sue Altman, Jason Blazakis and Greg Vartan.
