On the same day that Donald Trump won the Iowa Caucus, the Angus Reid Institute released a survey showing around two-thirds of Canadians are concerned that American Democracy can’t survive another Trump Presidency.

It’s clear that Canadians fear the impacts of the American far-right, but Pierre Poilievre is continuing to rip a page out of their playbook. Pierre Poilievre wants to rip up our climate plan, cut taxes for the rich and services for everyone else, put guns back in our communities, and roll back all of the progress we’ve made together.

But don’t take our word for it – look at how he mimics the American far-right to attack our free press:
