Working Families Party

John,

The final results from last night’s Iowa Republican caucuses are in — and they aren’t exactly breaking news:

Donald Trump and MAGA extremists continue to have a stranglehold on the entire Republican Party.

It might be hard to believe, but there are just 42 weeks until Election Day in November, with Democratic primaries starting in just a few weeks. There are going to be a lot of things about the next ten months that are beyond our control. But that makes all the pieces we can control that much more critical.

We have an ambitious agenda for what we already know will be an extraordinary election year with monumental stakes.

We need to end Republican control of the House. We need to defend our working families champions in Congress. We need to elect a new generation of working people to office and build our movement in the states. And we need to do it all while blocking the authoritarian right from power.

It will take a mighty coalition, coming together across our differences, to make all of this happen. But we’ve done it before, and we know we can do it again. Can you make a contribution to help us build the massive grassroots effort necessary to defeat MAGA Republicans and win governing power for working people in 2024?

At the Working Families Party, we know both our short-term work and our long-term vision require building governing power by and for working-class people of all races.

Every grassroots contribution helps build our financial independence, lets us reach more voters in 2024, and moves us closer to our vision of a society rooted in equality, dignity, solidarity, and compassion.

In solidarity,

Team WFP
