John, This is certainly a difficult time for so many. Between workers being laid off, schools closing, and shortages of groceries and other items, folks are struggling right now. When times get tough, it’s important that we look out for our friends and neighbors -- especially our older neighbors who might be scared to head outside to the grocery store. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Feeding America is collecting monetary donations to keep their food banks running strong for all of the folks who rely on them for nutritious meals. Now more than ever, we need to support our communities. Can you extend some generosity by making a donation to Feeding America today? The Feeding America network of food banks and programs serve 40 million people across the country, including 12 million kids and 7 million seniors. That number is sure to go up during these times of crisis. While we are practicing social distancing and leaving our homes only when necessary, we can’t help out in all of the ways we normally would -- but we can still make a difference. As costs are rapidly mounting because of increased demand, can you help out Feeding America with a contribution today? Thank you so much for helping out. I’m constantly surprised by the generosity and kindness of Americans -- and I know that during this time of fear and uncertainty it will be no different. Standing Tall for All, J.D. Scholten |
