Last night, Donald Trump won the Iowa Republican Caucus by a massive margin.

In a relatively measured victory speech, Trump attempted to appeal to moderate voters with the (hilarious) claim that he was ready to “unify the country.”

While Trump signaled he was already thinking about a general election match-up against President Biden, Fox News was on the air pushing Trump’s stolen election lies and conspiracy theories to its right-wing audience.

On more than one occasion, Fox hosts shared a poll result showing that two-thirds of Iowa Republicans still believe the 2020 election was stolen by Joe Biden. Rather than fact-check the false claim, Fox just left the poll there, leaving viewers with the impression that the election may have actually been stolen.

Gee, Fox News, I wonder why so many Republicans still believe the 2020 election was stolen? 🙄

While Trump’s message moderates as he pivots to the general election, last night is clear evidence that Fox News will keep fanning the anti-democratic flames of conspiracy, division, and hate at all costs.
