Hi, John – Jasmine here.
After meeting with our finance team this morning, there's something you should know: Unfortunately, we missed our first mid-month goal of the year.
We needed to raise $12,000 by 11:59 p.m. last night to fuel our ramp-up ahead of this year's election, and we fell just over $2,000 short. Of course, it's not the end of the world – but with so much at stake, falling 23 percent short is a troubling sign for our future ability to invest in Democratic women's leadership.
We had the most wins of any organization in the country in 2023, but if we can't hit fundraising moments like this, our team won't have the resources to maintain that level of success in 2024.
All that said, I'm glad to share that there's still hope: At our meeting, I managed to negotiate a 24-hour deadline extension on the final deadline.
Until 11:59 p.m. tonight, supporters like you can chip in to help make up the gap and power our work all the way to Election Day – so please, John, rush $10 or more before midnight to help Emerge keep our women-led movement to transform politics going strong.

Thank you for your steadfast support,
Jasmine Smith
