Mitch McConnell and his corporate donor network have already started pouring money into attacks, launching a full effort to buy Montana’s Senate seat. These attacks are misleading, baseless, and an outright smear campaign against my friend’s character. It’s time to set the record straight:

I’ve known Jon for a long time now. His work ethic and no-BS outlook stems from growing up on his family’s farm, and he’s carried these qualities into the Senate—making him the most effective lawmaker out of all 535 members of Congress.

Jon’s just not doing it like the other guys, John.

His judgment isn’t clouded by corporate interests like some of his colleagues, and he won’t compromise the Montana way of life that we love for the sake of dark money donors.

But the reality is that Jon can’t win on his values alone. To compete, we’ve got to stay ahead of McConnell’s attacks. What Jon needs is you to stand with him, and I’m reaching out today to ask you to join me.
