MAGA extremists in the House are at it again, threatening to defund critical government programs to score political points.

Let’s be clear: funding cliffs threaten critical programs for seniors, children, and working families. Even vital military programs are on the chopping block. And uncertainty in Washington creates instability in the market – that’s no way to manage the world’s largest economy.

I’ll continue fighting to keep the government open and working for the American people. But we can’t keep lurching from crisis to crisis, held hostage by the most extreme GOP members in Congress. To restore sanity and predictability to the budget process, we need to retake control of the House.

I’m sick of these shutdown threats, and I’m sure you are, too. Will you chip in a few dollars to flip the next Congress blue?
