ADL Leaders Attend J7 Summitt in Paris
In the backdrop of a spike in antisemitism around the globe, Jonathan and Marina led a group of senior ADL staff for a high-level meeting of the J7 - the Large Jewish Communities&rsquo; Task Force Against Antisemitism &ndash; in Paris, France. The member communities &ndash; which include Argentina, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the UK and the US - agreed to continue to work together to develop best practices for governments, academia, the private sector and civil society to address these issues.

In an op-ed, Andrew Srulevitch, Director of European Affairs,

wrote about the hostility towards Jewish students on university campuses in Europe, Latin America and around the world, including first-hand accounts from his conversations with British, Spanish and French Jewish student leaders about their experiences with anti-Israel-related antisemitism.


In 2023, ADL delivered 62 Words To Action trainings in fifteen European countries, training 990 Jewish young adults and youth in responding to antisemitism. ADL continues to be the largest provider of antisemitism education to Jewish young adults in Europe.


Latin America


Throughout 2023, over 2,400 people participated in joint ADL-Jewish Museum of Chile workshops on &ldquo;From Prejudice to Genocide." The workshops, which are based on ADL&rsquo;s Pyramid of Hate, were offered in schools, universities, police academies several Jewish organizations across Chile and the region.
