The theme of this report is Enduring Impact. The word “endure” has two meanings. The first is “to suffer.” You will see by their own words that the children and youth in our care have endured devastatingly painful and traumatic experiences. They know suffering.
But there is also another meaning to the word “endure.” It means “to stay, remain in existence, to last, to keep going.” A common theme you will discover in the words of children in our care isn’t only the suffering they endured, but that they keep going. They insist on it. And it is stunning.
And according to them, they don’t endure alone. Someone from Love146 shows up. And stays. For as long as they want us to.
As you dig into this report you will read about our work, values, impact, financials, and theory of change. As you do, understand that as you close the last page, the impact that we are having together on the lives of real children will continue to endure. Because of you.
