GOP Experts Warn Candidates to Stop Treating Abortion 'Like a Hot Stove' They Won't Touch |
by Suzanne Bowdey |
Nobody likes a wimp - and on the issue of abortion, the Republican Party has plenty of them. After the Dobbs ruling put the issue back in legislators' hands, a shocking number of GOP candidates spent the 2022 and 2023 elections cowering in the collective corner, hoping voters would take their silence as confirmation that they had a reasonable position on life (despite the Democrats' 24/7 ads to the contrary). Now, staring down a high-stakes November where this issue has the potential to upend all of the GOP's momentum, more voices are urging the party to get off the sidelines and fight. |

Alabama may resume enforcement of a law protecting minors from the harmful effects of gender transition procedures, the Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit ruled in a brief order Thursday. The Vulnerable Child Compassion and Protection (VCAP) Act has been blocked in federal court since May 2022 amid an unusually eventful 18 months of legal pinball and faces a hearing by the full 11th Circuit later this year. Nations Must Provide 'an Uninterrupted Supply of' Trans Hormones and Surgeries: WHO Guidelines |
by Ben Johnson |
The team drawing up guidelines for how doctors around the world should view transgender injections and surgeries consists of numerous radical transgender activists, an author who popularizes the term "genderf*ck" in a forthcoming book of "academic smut," and someone who advised the United Nations that countries should provide an "uninterrupted supply of ... medical [hormone therapy] and gender-affirmative surgeries for trans people." Many of the "experts" have no medical expertise, and the majority of those with any medical experience belong to a group that advocates transgender surgeries and medical interventions for children as young as 10. |

by David Closson |
After months of campaigning, debating, and politicking, the 2024 election is officially underway. While political pundits and prognosticators focus their analysis of the Iowa caucus on which of the Republican candidates - Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, Donald Trump, and Vivek Ramaswamy - can sustain their campaigns into the New Hampshire primary, a widely distributed viral video (and one campaign's embrace of its messaging) provides an opportunity for thoughtful Christian reflection about the interplay between politics and faith. |
