What issues are most important to you?
I am confident they’re important to me too, but since you’re a dedicated Minnesota Republican and loyal supporter, I want to make sure I have a clear understanding of your priorities.
And I want to make sure you know what I stand for, what my values are, and why I want to serve another term in office.
I know some of you have gotten to know me well, but some of you may
still be learning about me. You may not know that:
- I’m a fourth-generation Minnesotan who grew up on a Brown County farm – the same farm my wife Jackie and I help operate today;
- My first experience in public office was the state legislature, where I focused on issues important to rural families;
- During the Trump administration, I served as Minnesota Director for USDA Rural Development;
- Despite the partisan gridlock in DC, I’ve delivered victories for Minnesota farmers, veterans, and parents; and,
- Jackie and I are the proud parents of seven children, and every decision I make in Congress is rooted in my concern for the next generation. I want everyone’s kids and grandkids to inherit a country that is strong, free, and proud!
During the election year, I’ll be talking with Minnesotans about all this and more. But like most farmers, I’m more interested in listening than talking. I want to know what’s important to you, what you want your government to focus on, and what your hopes are for Minnesota’s future.
