Friends,

Yesterday marked two years since I first launched my campaign for Congress.

Making the decision to run wasn't an easy one for me. I loved being a pediatrician, and I loved all of the families I got to know over my 17-year career. But I knew I could do more good for more children and families in my district and across this country from a seat in the House of Representatives than I could, one child at a time, in my clinic.

Since bringing my books and stethoscope home, one of the joys that stands out to me the most is how we came together and built a grassroots movement that's creating change.

In Congress, I've worked with my colleagues to pass legislation to get special interests' big-money influence out of our elections, protect people with pre-existing conditions, look out for children, and ensure comprehensive background checks for gun purchases. But our work is just beginning, friends.

I am incredibly grateful for all of you on "Team Schrier" who have helped me along the way, whether through financial support, spreading the word about my candidacy, or cheering me on. Together, we are making this country better -- but if we want to keep it up, I'm going to need your continued support.

In honor of my two-year campaign anniversary, would you commit to becoming a monthly donor to make sure I can keep fighting for our values and families in D.C.?
