“The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically.  Intelligence plus character – that's the goal of true education.”  – Dr. MLK Jr.
Dear John,

As we commemorate the inspiring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his tireless pursuit of justice and equality, we are reminded of the ongoing work needed to create a world where every individual – and student– is treated with dignity and respect.

At the School Board Integrity Project, we are committed to advancing the principles that Dr. King fought for. Our mission of recruiting, training , and retaining school board members who value integrity, excellence, respect, belonging, and trust within our public schools is an important one. We work alongside candidates and provide them  with the tools, information, and capacity they need to run strong campaigns that will ensure we have elected school board members who will value the freedom to learn and who will benefit all students.

Today, on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we invite you to join us in reflection and the solidification of our commitment to making a meaningful difference.

You can help us ensure that all students are being supported by school board members that are dedicated to advancing their education and not a political agenda or hatred. Together, we can continue the fight for truth, equality, and justice within our education systems and beyond.

Thank you for standing with us in the pursuit of equity and equality. Let's honor Dr. King's legacy by working together to create positive change.

Wishing you a reflective and meaningful Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Sincerely,
The SBIP Team
