Outbreak alert: Measles hits Kansas City! Airport and hospital exposure risks

The health concerns related to the measles virus have increased and have now reached Clay County, and health officials have issued warnings of the potential exposure that happened at the Kansas City International Airport earlier this month.
 

The measles case at the Kansas City International Airport was confirmed by the Clay County Public Health Center on January 4 (Thursday) and at North Kansas City Hospital on January 5 and January 6.
