I’m at the State Capitol right now to make my voice heard — and I hope many of you will join me. There are too many in Florida’s Capitol who keep a dystopian vision of our future.
They fear the multiracial, multigenerational, and bipartisan democracy Florida has become.
It’s why this session we're seeing so many bills attacking voting rights, LGBTQ+ rights, reproductive freedom, and honest history. It’s why we're seeing bills that attack diversity and inclusion programs in our state colleges and threaten local leaders with jail sentences for removing confederate monuments.
Today, as I help lead the fight against these attacks, I recommit myself to Dr. King's vision for an America where all of us are truly free.
