If the polls are right, Donald Trump will win by a huge margin tonight. I don't need to explain why this is a problem. There are four indictments that do it better than I can.

But here's what these results are telling me: The Republicans in power are getting more extreme. In the past 8 years, we have seen Trump's corrosive influence on our state's politics. But we can stop this problem before it gets any worse.
