John,
Each year on the third Monday in January, we mark the leadership and success of one of our country's heroes, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., through acts of service and through celebrations.
We honor Dr. King’s legacy of equality and justice and are reminded that its pursuit is a constant. It is a continuous effort and one we must recommit ourselves to regularly, in order to make progress.
We are proud our Connecticut Democrats strive to embody these values each and every day in their work in public service across the state, and on Capitol Hill.
We hope today will you take a moment to reflect on our shared American history, and the lessons we can learn for our future.
Sincerely,
Adrienne Billings-Smith
Vice Chair
