Happy MLK Day, John,

As we honor one of our country’s true Founding Fathers, I’m reflecting on and recommitting myself to service – and I hope you are too!

MLK’s values are timeless and transcendent. Here’s just one quote that always stands out to me:

“I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. This is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant.” – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

If we tell the truth to ourselves and to each other, we can build a better world for everyone.

And by moving with love and care for one another, we can usher in a new era for humanity based on cooperation and solving the big problems facing all of us.

It isn’t easy. There will be setbacks. But any defeat for truth and love is only temporary.

There’s true strength in our movement. I hope you feel it today. ✊🏿
